Safety
I am committed to rebuilding the Safety and Security Committee to better serve our community's evolving needs. This revitalized committee will focus on enhancing the safety and security measures within our neighborhood, ensuring that all residents feel secure in their homes and community.
To promote adaptability, all committee positions will be held for 18 months. At the end of that timeframe , every member will have the opportunity to re-request their spot on the committee, allowing for fresh perspectives and new ideas. This approach will not only encourage active participation from a diverse group of residents but also ensure that we remain responsive to the ever-changing safety and security landscape.
Social
This committee will be dedicated to organizing a range of social gatherings, from seasonal celebrations and holiday parties to happy hours, family-friendly events and community outreach initiatives
The Social and Events Committee will serve as a platform for residents to connect, build friendships, and foster a stronger sense of belonging within our neighborhood. By actively involving homeowners in planning and executing events, we can ensure that our activities reflect the unique interests and values of our community.
Welcoming
As a candidate for the HOA board, I am excited to propose the formation of a Welcoming Committee dedicated to creating a warm and friendly atmosphere for new residents, helping them feel at home from day one. This committee will personally greet newcomers and provide welcome kits filled with essential community information.
The committee will organize informal orientation meetings that not only explain community guidelines and amenities but also ensure that new residents have a solid understanding of community expectations, rules, and regulations. Additionally, the committee will outline who to contact for specific issues and how to reach them, making it easier for newcomers to navigate their new environment.
Furthermore, the Welcoming Committee will collaborate with the social and events committee to host engaging social events, such as meet-and-greets and happy hours, building new connections among residents.
Technology & Innovation
The technology and innovation committee will be vital to our community as it will focus on enhancing communication, efficiency, and engagement through the effective use of technology. By overseeing the HOA website and all technology-related items, this committee will ensure that residents have easy access to important information, resources, and updates. They will actively research and evaluate emerging technologies to determine their potential benefits for the community, keeping the board informed about their findings and recommendations. Market Trends Task Force
This committee will be composed of our talented homeowner real estate agents who are passionate about our community and committed to keeping us informed on property values and market trends both within and around Lotus .
The Market Trends Task Force will actively monitor and analyze real estate dynamics, providing valuable insights to residents and the board of directors. By staying informed of surrounding neighborhoods and identifying potential upgrades, this committee will help us understand how to enhance our property values and maintain our community's desirability.
Pricing
The pricing committee in a homeowners association (HOA) will play a critical role in managing the community's finances and ensuring that budgetary decisions align with the needs and priorities of residents. I intend to propose significant improvements to the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) by having them collaborate closely with the Technology and Innovation Committee to explore opportunities for digitizing the application and tracking process. By implementing digital solutions, we can streamline submissions, enhance transparency, and make it easier for residents to track the status of their applications in real-time. This modernization will not only improve efficiency but also foster better communication between the board of directors, management company, ACC and our community members, ensuring that everyone is informed and engaged throughout the process.
